Project aims

Explore how VCSE led community anchor businesses could provide support for people who are Care Act eligible in the city and help them to develop an offer that provides sustainable funding and great outcomes for local citizens.

Project description and outcomes

Self Directed Futures was commissioned to work alongside Black Southwest Network, Locality, OSCA and Power to Change to run workshops and roundtable events with community anchor businesses exploring support the marketplace for care and support, CQC standards and regulations, personal budgets, micro providers, introductory agencies and support brokerage.
