Lancashire Small Supports Accreditation

Project aims

To develop a new commissioning framework specifically designed for small organisations who provide more specialised support to adults with learning disabilities and autistic people. This is part of a wider nationwide programme being led by NDTi (funded in part by NHS England) and is termed Small Supports.

Project description &and outcomes

Working with commissioners, small supports site leads and other key stakeholders we designed a suite of guidance documents for organisations interested in becoming Small Supports providers. Alongside this we designed an accreditation approach built around organisational values and skills and linked it to a wider project to increase choice and control through the offering of Individual Service Funds.
