Collaborative Commissioning

Project aims

To work with support providers to agree flat rates for care and support to allow people to have better choice and control over who supports them (taking cost out of the selection process by negotiating harmonised hourly rates).

Project description and outcomes

Work with Local Authority and Integrated Care Boards to undertake financial modelling, map CQC and local quality criteria across the market to establish which organisations are essential to the market, discuss and agree new rates with support organisations and implement these. This improved choice and control for local citizens by removing cost from conversions around preferred choice of provider.
