Individual Service Funds Policy

Project aims

Lancashire County Council wanted to develop a policy to support its implementation of Individual Service Funds as part of the council wider offer on personalisation.

Project description and outcomes

Self Directed Futures worked with Lancashire County Council (LCC) to co-design and co-produce a policy document that was approved by LCC cabinet and adult social care supporting a council wide offer around Individual Service Funds. 

The policy was widely consulted on by a variety of stakeholders and included a public consultation. The policy document was published in 2022 and is available to read here: https://council.lancashire.gov.uk/documents/s200542/Appendix%20C.pdf
