Project aims

To increase awareness of good practice around Joint Integrated Personal Budgets (NHS and Local Authority) and to co-produce guidance for Integrated Care Boards and Local Authorities setting out what real integration looks like from the perspective of people with lived experience, and the system changes that are required to support this from a commissioning and operational perspective.

Project description and outcomes

Self Directed Futures was commissioned to run a series of round table meetings to discuss people’s experiences of integration and, as part of the group, collate examples of this to write into practice guidance alongside NHS England.
